Welcome--I set up this blog so we at the New School of Cooking can keep in touch with our community. We'll add entries to update you on what's interesting us in food world, and also to talk about issues that concern us all. We absolutely welcome contributions from the general public, but ask that you submit comments about the cooking school to me directly at annesmith@newschoolofcooking.com. This blog gives us a chance to talk a little bit outside of the general cooking school program. I'm increasingly concerned with promoting sustainable agriculture, supporting local farmers and reducing our carbon imprint. But I promise, we'll have a little fun here too!
